About Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program

The Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP) is a division of Expedia dedicated solely to travel agents. TAAP is designed to give travel agents all the tools they need to provide their clients with competitive and comprehensive products and pricing. The TAAP program works with agents, offering commissions, incentives, promotions, and technology all geared toward facilitating the activities of their partners. TAAP is a global enterprise, catering to thousands of travel agencies around the world.

Why become a member of the Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program?

Expedia offers substantial commissions for hotels, tailor-made packages (air and hotel), car rental and activities, at the same time guaranteeing products of excellent quality at extremely competitive prices. So clients are happy and agents have the opportunity to earn better commissions.

Thanks to a database of over 130,000 hotels throughout the world, Expedia helps agents find the best possible products for their customers – quickly and easily. This product base is continuously updated and improved with the addition of approximately 300 Expedia Special Rate hotels each month. Agents save time booking on Expedia, and can devote more time to client service.

Their search engine allows agents to check the availability of rooms and make a booking in real time as well as view key information on the specific hotel (location, amenities, room types, photographs), or other travel products that can be booked on behalf of affiliate’s customers.

The only payment method accepted by Expedia is by credit card, so transactions performed via their site are protected by the security standards offered by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. Commissions are paid to agents by wire transfer the month after client travel.

Becoming a member

Membership to Expedia’s Travel Agent Affiliate Program is subject to a one time membership fee (due to the many initiatives the membership fee is usually waived) of $50 which shall not be paid in advance, but which will be deducted from the first Marketing Fee payment. Once the registration has been accepted, agents are sent a tracking code exclusive to their agency, allowing affiliates to make reservations, track bookings and accrue commissions. It’s as simple as that!

  1. I am interested in knowing if there is a commission for airline tickets only or do you pay on hotels and packages, car rentals only?
    Thank you.

  2. BETTY GABILANES says:

How do I become a member? do I have to have an IATA to get commissions from you? We sell tickets, and packages.
    Thanks
