Even Eagles Need A Push: A New Vision

“The method of the enterprising is to play with audacity and execute with vigor.”

Even Eagles Need A Push by David McNally, page 129

Chapter 6: A New Vision

When I read this phrase and found myself highlighting it, the word ENTHUSIASM shot through my head.

I have always inferred in seminars and workshops that “enthusiasm sells.” Boring is out. Enthusiasm is in. If you are going to play, play hard. Play to win. Play to the final whistle and play without excuse or trepidation. In short, play with audacity. To me, audacity and enthusiasm are very close.

By definition, audacity means daring, boldness, bravery, nerve.

The other key word in this phrase is the word “execute.” Playing hard is admirable, but victory will only come with a tenacious adherence to the details and by executing your game plan meticulously.

Ply your trade with audacity and execute until you succeed.
