New 12-Guest Expedition Cruise Offers Personalized Experiences for Guests & Generous Incentives for Travel Advisors

Expedition cruises have emerged in the last 50 years as an increasingly popular way to live life large, that’s why Offshore Outpost Expeditions (“OOE”) was created. The company’s first voyage departs November 26, 2017. In the first year of operation, OOE is offering weeklong expeditions to the Sea of Cortez and Alaska that are crafted by crew members with intimate knowledge of the areas to delight and amaze guests with a combination of coastal adventure and community in the ship’s spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces.

For travel advisors, there is an exclusive offer for the inaugural season: in addition to 10% commission, travel advisors receive an additional $500 in commission for each booking up to 4 guests, and an additional $1,000 for bookings with 5 guests or more. The $500 and $1,000 bonus commission offer is per booking and based on guests traveling together.

PictureOOE is taking a bold new approach to expedition cruising: sailing on a roomy, custom-retrofitted expedition ship that takes a maximum of 12 guests beyond the destination to provide the personalized experiences of a lifetime. Smaller than cruise ships and providing more rugged and adventurous experiences, expedition cruises address the growing fascination of travelers to get more “up close and personal” with the natural world. OOE’s all-inclusive, small ship adventures explore one of the world’s most compelling destinations—the vibrant marine ecosystem of the spectacular Sea of Cortez, a UNESCO World Heritage site that Jacques Cousteau called “the World’s Aquarium.” And they do it in style. Their 160-foot expedition ship, Pacific Provider, is built for adventure and relaxation, combining agility and ruggedness with yacht-like comforts. She’s small enough to reach places other ships can’t, yet offers the privacy and sophistication most welcome after the day’s activities. With just six spacious, well-appointed staterooms and a maximum of only 12 guests per voyage, your clients will experience unmatched flexibility, personalized service and camaraderie with other like-minded guests, with the highest guest to crew ratio in the industry (2:1).

The impressive guest to crew ratio allows for daily customization to the unique experiences offered aboard the Pacific Provider and the remote destinations where she sails. Every stateroom offers a spectacular ocean view, and one of the highest space-per-guest ratios of any small ship adventure cruise line. Their attentive, experienced crew pampers every guest, while ensuring the highest levels of safety, security and cleanliness. Their handpicked crew is available 24/7 to deliver the experiences your clients have only imagined.

OOE’s ship, the Pacific Provider, is a 160 ft. vessel featuring:

  • Six identical spacious staterooms with king and twin-bed options offering unmatched privacy, complete with premium linens, full en-suite bathroom, breathtaking views from large picture windows (6 ft. x 3.5 ft.), TV with a movie database, ample storage space, and Gilchrist & Soames amenities.
  • Well-appointed common rooms, including indoor and outdoor dining and bar areas
  • 3-beer taps, multiple wine coolers, and bar areas where a talented mixologist works with guests to provide custom drinks mixed to deliver local tastes.
  • Expansive outdoor space featuring a 2,200 sq. ft. upper deck with a 7-person Jacuzzi
  • A swim platform
  • An outdoor cooking, dining and bar space (including the unique Big Green Egg wood burning BBQ and smoker) where guests can join the onboard chef as he prepares sumptuous meals from the day’s catch: roosterfish, yellowtail, and dorado (mahi mahi). The chef will cook it or vacuum-seal it for your clients to take home.

PictureOffshore Outpost Expeditions gets up close and personal with wildlife. Step ashore on unspoiled beaches a world away from the tourist crowds. Kayak through scenic mangroves. Walk beaches where yours are the only footprints. Snorkel an ancient coral reef. Stand-up paddleboard in pristine waters. The choices are always theirs. Four tenders allow your clients to set out on their own tailored experiences, with a full complement of high-end adventure gear. Guests can choose from activities such as swimming with sea lions at Los Islotes, fishing for local game fish, exploring the vibrant reef at Cabo Pulmo and observing wildlife from the ship’s expansive deck. The itinerary is flexible, with an emphasis on experience, not covering sea miles. A typical cruise will cover only a few hundred miles with plenty of time for on-ship and off-ship adventures. The fleet of tenders enables individualized exploration and provides unparalleled freedom to explore the area’s pristine waters, stunning desert landscapes and hidden beaches—places larger ships simply can’t reach.

PictureYour clients will also experience local cuisine prepared by a private chef during every meal. Locally sourced fish, farm-fresh produce and a flair for authentic flavors come together in every creative meal. The menu will include fresh catches of the day, as well as gourmet selections such as Baja shrimp stir-fry with coconut citrus curry, local oysters, turtle cheesecake and horchata crème brûlée. The crew will always accommodate food allergies and special dietary requests.

OOE offers a journey at a package price that includes all food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, airport transfers and top-of-the-line adventure gear. The only things not included are gratuities and airfare.
