Examine Your Points of Contact

If you want a good idea of how others see your image as a travel consultant, look at all of your “points of contact” – those places where the client comes into contact with your image. Look at your business cards, your logo and letter head. Does your email address indicate a professional or a consumer? Is the artwork professionally designed or clip art? Does the image you project inspire confidence?

Look to your manner of dress and the way you answer your phone. Examine your proposals and the way you deliver quotes to clients. Each of these small items add up to form a picture of you and the image you project. If each point of contact exudes professionalism you will inspire confidence. Locate those points of contact with clients that need polishing and have a go at them. Then stand back and take an objective look. If you like what you see, chances are so will your clients.
