Vacation Express’ Popular ‘Commission Stimulus’ Program is Back

Vacation Express, which bills itself as a “Boutique Tour Operator”, offers some of the most lucrative travel agent bonuses in the business. Due to the clear popularity of the program in 2010, Vacation Express has made the decision to offer the Commission Stimulus Program again for summer 2011.

The Commission Stimulus Program, which pays agents an additional five dollars per paid person per night when selling one of the participating hotels, provides yet one more way agents can earn bonus cash. The bonus is valid for bookings made March 1, 2011 through July 31, 2011 for travel between April 15 and October 31, 2011. The payout is based on clients who actually pay for the room so clients who are part of a “stay for free” promotion or children who stay free with their parents are excluded. The bonus commission is paid after client travel is complete, and an easy online redemption form must be submitted after clients depart, and received by Vacation Express by November 30, 2011. The list of participating hotels covers a good number of popular hotels throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and Costa Rica AND best of all – the program is also combinable with their other travel agent incentive programs… the FREEBIES program and the Travel Agent Cash Incentive program.

“Freebies”

The Vacation Express “Freebies” program allows agents to earn one free night for themselves and a companion for every qualifying booking. Clients must travel for a specified number of nights (varies by hotel), then a free night “voucher” is sent to the booking agent automatically with the clients’ documents. Best of all, there is no limit to the number of “Freebie” nights an agent can earn. Not only is the program advantageous for travel agents, hotels that sign up to participate are keen on the program because it generates brand loyalty and repeat business.

Travel Agent Cash Incentive Program

$50 for every 5 bookings
$150 for every 10 bookings
$350 for every 20 bookings

Bookings traveling in 2011 (scheduled air packages and land only) qualify for the incentive program. All bookings made within the same year must be booked by the same agent and must travel within the same year to qualify. Bonus will be paid to the booking agent after client travel is complete. This program counts booking numbers, not the number of rooms within a booking. For group bookings of 10 or more clients, there is a separate Group Cash Incentive Program as well.

So – agents not familiar with Vacation Express might want to seriously consider the benefits of doing business with them.  Not only is this an extremely agent-friendly tour operator offering exceptional personalized service, competitive commissions and a quality product at very competitive prices, but travel agents earn cash for their bookings and have an opportunity to earn free nights for themselves with the “Freebies” program.  It’s definitely a win-win for everyone!
