Set to take place from May 12 – 15 at the beautiful Paradisus Cancun, this exclusive event will offer an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in the complete romance vacation market.
Delegates will have the chance to take part in targeted training with dedicated Honeymoon Expert and Destination Wedding Expert tracks. Each track will cover key subjects such as: Developing Your Business Roadmap, Building Your Brand, Key Marketing and Social Media Tips and Supplier Collaboration. Additional content will cover converting qualified prospects into clients and capitalizing on referrals and important market trends. A select base of suppliers will also be offering product training courses.
At the close of the program, agents will receive a Certified Romance Expert certificate of completion. Additionally, travel agents currently enrolled in The Travel Institute’s CTA, CTC, CTIE programs will be eligible to earn 10 CEU’s by attending the Romance Travel Forum!
Building Your Supplier Network
Part of the overall experience, is the opportunity to build your black book of key supplier partners. The Romance Travel Forum will feature the most recognized brands in romance travel, including a wide representation of resorts and all-inclusive properties, destinations, cruise lines and wholesalers. While there will be a strong showcase of Mexican based properties and destinations, supplier representation will extend throughout the Caribbean with participation from entities from Jamaica, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas to name a few. Overall some 75 supplier companies will be on hand, with many representing a global portfolio of top romance travel products. The Showcase will provide private one-to-one meetings and open engagements for maximum supplier connections. Additional roundtable opportunities will offer travel agents a more in-depth look and education on key product offerings.
To complement the overall experience, travel agents will have the chance to visit some of the hottest properties during experiential evening functions and post-FAM’s. The Paradisus Cancun will be hosting site inspections on arrival day, along with a Welcome Reception to help agents experience the product. The second evening, The Flawless Diamond Gala at Secrets The Vine Cancun hosted by AM Resorts promises to offer an evening of “shine, shimmer and supreme sophistication”. Agents will enjoy a full culinary experience with a delectable selection of dishes from the properties six gourmet restaurants and music. The closing night will feature “The Ultimate Rock & Roll Wedding Experience” hosted by of course, the All Inclusive Hard Rock, where agents are encouraged to wear their favorite concert t-shirt. The team at Hard Rock will also be offering a showcase highlighting their WOW Destination Wedding program.
The team at ASK Me will host an early morning Travel Agent Boot Camp on both Tuesday and Monday. Kick-off your days with both fun physical and mental exercises to help you boost your energy and creative sales and marketing knowledge!
Site inspections in the Cancun Hotel Zone are being finalized, with brands such as RIU, Sandos and others. You’ll have the chance to visit some of the most requested properties!
The Riviera Maya will be offering a post-familiarization from May 15 – 17. Details on this opportunity will be announced shortly, but will offer limited participation with space being filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The post-FAM will include accommodations for the two nights.
