Outstanding Destinations — is it over?

Where did the time go? It seems I just started writing my diaries yesterday and now it is over!  I have to say that it’s been a great experience writing the diaries this past year. I have learned a lot about the industry, my own business, your business and a lot about myself.

One of the most valuable things to me was not from my participation–it was available (and is available) to everyone. It was the entries the others wrote; and knowing that there were other agents facing some of the same questions I had, made me feel a lot more secure with my newness to the industry. Simply reading how they handled their problems helped with mine. If you haven’t taken the time–read some of them. They are very helpful.

I did ultimately go on that wedding symposium and met some great people and some famous ones too. So yes I will definitely still be doing the FAM trips when (and if) schedules allow. As for my bridal shows–they are definitely on my radar and I will do a couple each year from here on out.

Finally, I want to say thank you to TRO for letting me go through this process for the past year. It truly has enabled me to gain some fresh insight into my business. And to the folks that took the time to comment on something I wrote or email me–thank you!  And now, as I say goodbye, I want to wish everyone a fantastic holiday!  And if you want to drop me a line…. here’s my email!
