Hello! I am Judith White, the owner and founder of White Sand Travel. White Sand Travel is a boutique travel agency that specializes in designing romance travel for busy couples in love who want to experience rich romantic adventures without the stress of planning it themselves. We help them by carefully planning every component of their experience so they do not have to lift a finger but can just show up and have the time of their lives.
My passion for travel and my yearning to experience different cultures fueled my desires to learn more about the travel industry. As my interest increased so did my frustration on my prior job and I discovered that I had a natural ability to design travel packages. I planned two or three family vacations every year and was better at it than the agent I worked with at the brick and mortar agency down the street. That realization took me on a path to further my education and studies and to a degree in Hospitality Management along with internships and positions in restaurants and hotels/resorts.
White Sand Travel started out as a hobby in 2002 so I could continue to dream and live vicariously through others. I would dream of vacations in luxurious destinations and staying in fabulous resorts. After being laid off from my job in the corporate world, I began to take business ownership and travel design seriously. As I worked with several couples, I was amazed at the amount of time couples were spending trying to design their own wedding or honeymoon only to end up exhausted and disappointed. That led me to dig deeply into the romance industry and carve out a niche in that market.
The White Sand Travel business model was recently restructured to be much more service oriented so that we can truly appeal to and provide legendary client service to the couples we serve. Our agency includes myself and 3 others. Together we leverage our skills and experience so our clients can walk away with a positive and glowing experience. Before our redesign, we had a mix of family oriented and romance travel and we primarily designed honeymoons. Currently, we have a focused initiative to broaden our horizons. Our biggest asset is not necessarily our education and experience but the personal characteristics – the pride we take in the service we deliver, the passion for our craft and the creativity that allows us to design flawless romance packages. We realized that romance is not just weddings and honeymoons – we design the destination wedding, the honeymoon, the anniversary, the romantic getaway, the vow renewal and the babymoon so that our relationship with our guests can span years and not just the single trip honeymoon. Our tagline is “Imagine + Go” and that is what we aspire to live by – where our clients only ever have to imagine what they want, articulate that to us and we can design the trip of a lifetime for them.
