The locals call it simple “La Cruz”. La Cruz streets are cobblestone, lending the village a charming feel. La Manzanilla, a beach with calm waters, is a great place to kick back and enjoy the day. The harbors along the beach allow fisherman to head out for the day. You can also eat at many of the local restaurants serving genuine, and delicious, local foods.

• Near La Cruz de Huanacaxtle are areas such as Alta Vista, Sayulita, and San Blas. Alta Vista is known for its ancient petroglyphs, created by the Tecoxquin native culture from approximately 2000 BC to 2300 BC. Sayulita is a town known for its colorful and cross-cultural feel, with surfers flocking to its shores. San Blas is a surfing mecca of the Narayita like Suyalita; but you can also find fishing and an abundance of bird watching, with over 200 species of bird.
