These six words hit me last night in my sleep some time around 3 a.m. They woke me up, and I began to reflect on the truth of these three options.
We are always thinking to ourselves, about how things could be, might be, should be.
When we are alone, we even talk to ourselves about what we would do if we hit the lottery. “If only…”
I am willing to bet that 98.65% of people in America fall into these two categories:
Thinkers and talkers.
Then come the “Doers.” This is that small element of people who are not afraid to fail, try, experiment, laugh, learn, and live. This is the small group of people who endorse the protocol of “Ready. Fire. Aim.” These are the people who actually die with a smile on their face with little or no sign of regret or remorse.
I am not suggesting or even recommending that you refrain from thinking, or talking yourself through individual scenarios. These are indicators of intelligence. I am implying that the clock is ticking, and it is high time for a little more “do.”
This month, go do something and tell me what it feels like.
