  • The rolling hills of the area cover more than 500,000 acres and almost 800 square miles in south-central England, and stretch across several counties including Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, and parts of Wiltshire, Somerset, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. Historically, the wool trade contributed to the area’s prosperity and the construction of the fine stone houses and villages for which the area is known. The area’s many small towns and villages feature many churches , homes and building constructed of Cotswold limestone.

Each village is distinctive, with its own character, and there are many facets to each town’s ambiance and local environment.
