The Boutique Technique with Ya’lla Tours

There are many travel suppliers in the industry. Most are great at what they do, which is offer the traveler an experience of a destination. Ya’lla tours is no different in that aspect; but they shine more when it comes to the more personalized experience. Having been in the industry since 1993, they’ve learned a few things about customizing the journey of travelers.

As stated earlier, Ya’lla was started in 1993 by Ronen Paldi (a native of Israel). Before starting up Ya’lla though, he was on the ground as a tour guide in Israel and Egypt. Taking in the lessons he learned from “being on the ground” was vital in forming Ya’lla. This includes having a company philosophy of flexibility, expertise, and personalized service. The first-hand experience of Ya’lla and its team help create a better knowledge base needed for in the in-depth planning of “boutique” journeys.

In 2002, they were one of the first US-based operators to offer Americans legal travel plans to Cuba. Their TSP (Travel Service Provider) license was granted by the Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), under the Humanitarian provision. As time went on, more travel suppliers began to get licensed under the People to People provision. When the People to People provision was revoked from law, and most of these suppliers and cruise companies pulled out of the Cuba Market. Ya’lla was unaffected by this revocation. To this day, they continue to offer legal travel to Cuba for US citizens.

With tours around Havana that include very local flavors such as the more common sites of Revolutionary Square and the classic cars cruising the roads, community-building projects, and concerts of traditional Cuban music – Ya’lla Tours has its ear to the ground when it comes to this festive city. Add in the sights of Old Havana, where traditions and history are ever-present, and they’ve got the interest of the traveler in mind – a Cuban state of mind.

This year, though, Ya’lla has its attention on the Expo 2020 Dubai World Fair, October 20, 2020 – April 10, 2021. The expo is expected to have 190 countries representing their culture in pavilions, over 200 restaurants of world cuisine to choose from, and up to 60 live shows happening daily. Multiple packages are available by booking directly on their expo site (found at the ad above). All of this in Dubai, known for its stunning new-world architecture.

Ya’lla would love to help you create the perfect, customized itinerary for travelers. With destinations such as Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and, of course, Cuba – their bookings for 4-star or better hotels will win the boutique traveler over.
