First-Ever Seven River Journeys Through Europe, Launching in 2023

In 2023, AmaWaterways will make history as it debuts the longest river cruise experience with its first-ever Seven River Journey itineraries. These new experiences take guests through 14 countries over 45 or 46 nights during the Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons, and allow travelers to catch up on their bucket list of travel experiences.

Space is still available on the Autumn Seven River Journey departure and with its own specially curated experiences, this extended journey is guaranteed to surprise and delight guests as they explore the grand capitals, charming villages and World Heritage Sites along some of the world’s most legendary waterways. Included in each itinerary are new excursions, exclusive experiences, complimentary laundry and luggage services and, of course, the services of one experienced Cruise Manager that will accompany each select group of 144 travelers throughout their whole journey.

Celebration of Classical Music: The Danube Cruises with Added Land Packages in Kraków, Poland

With an increased demand for immersive cultural experiences, AmaWaterways added new Celebration of Classical Music: The Danube cruises to its roster of itineraries. This 7-night cruise sails between Budapest and Vienna and gives guests once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to embrace the rich history of classical music and legendary composers in the region. Classical music enthusiasts will be delighted by live performances in beautiful places, such as Austria’s Melk Abbey.

In addition, AmaWaterways is introducing a new 3-night land package in Kraków, Poland that is available as a pre-cruise land package on the Celebration of Classical Music itinerary or a post-cruise land package on the Majestic Capitals of the Danube itinerary. The add-on invites guests to extend their river cruise experiences by three days while discovering the UNESCO-designated Wawel Royal Castel, the factory of Oskar Schindler and the hourly call of St. Mary’s bugler. In addition, guests can visit Auschwitz for a deeply moving and memorable experience.

Majestic Capitals of the Danube Cruises with Added Land Packages in Salzburg, Austria and Kraków, Poland

AmaWaterways is giving travelers even more choices to explore the Danube with its new, 5-night Majestic Capitals of the Danube itinerary. Whether guests have sailed the Danube previously or are new to the experience, they will have the opportunity to explore three of Europe’s capital cities along the river including Budapest, Hungary; Bratislava, Slovakia and Vienna, Austria. Along this journey, each day offers an extensive choice of included daily excursions, such as hilltop hikes, bike tours and tastings of local delights.

Guests can explore Kraków, Poland with the new pre-cruise land package. In addition, AmaWaterways is introducing a new post-cruise land package in Salzburg, Austria. With this experience, guests can enjoy historic walking tours including in the breathtaking Austrian Lake District. They will also have the option to choose either a specialized “Sound of Music” tour or a visit to Red Bull Hangar 7, where they can marvel at historic aircraft and Formula 1 race cars.
