Disney Cruise Line eliminates vaccination requirement for children ages 5 to 11

Disney Cruise Ship

Disney Cruise Line is dropping its requirement for children over the age of 5 to be fully vaccinated before sailing. The cruise line’s website reads:

Beginning September 2, 2022, for sailings departing US and Canadian ports, Disney Cruise Line will require Guests ages 12 and older to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, as defined by the CDC. In consideration of CDC guidance, Disney Cruise Line highly recommends that Guests ages 11 and younger be fully vaccinated before sailing.”

Guests older than 11 years of age are still required to be fully vaccinated, and all guests must be tested for Covid 19 not more than two days prior to sailing or at the embarkation port.
