Disney Announces New Ship for 2024, New Port of Call

The news was announced by Josh D’Amaro, Disney Parks chair, at Disney’s D23 Expo that their cruise line division would be unveiling a new ship, Disney Treasure. This new ship will be styled like the setting of the Disney movie Aladdin, including a statue of Aladdin and Jasmine riding the magic carpet character and an opulent interior similar to the grand palace of Agrobah (also featured in Aladdin).

Though a teaser with limited information about the ship itself, there were other drops about a new port of call. Located on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, Lighthouse Point will be built up to accommodate and entertain cruise guests. Activities will include dining, swimming, shopping, a youth activity area, and more.

The Disney Treasure is the second of three new ships. The first of which was the Wish in July of this year, followed by the aforementioned Treasure in 2024, and then a currently unnamed ship in 2025.
