Dream Yacht Worldwide launches electric catamarans

Dream Yacht Worldwide has launched a partnership with Fountaine Pajot to create a line of electric catamarans aimed at the consumer market.

The first yachts, Aura 51 Smart Electric model, will be available for purchase as well as for also for charter, beginning in Italy in April 2023.

The partners eventually plan to have more than 20 electric yachts in the fleet by spring 2024. Of these, 10 will be sailing catamarans, and 12 will be sailing yachts.

The two companies are heavily invested in research and technology around electric yachts, which they believe will emissions in a way that has “an unprecedented global impact on the future of yachting.” They aim for carbon-zero emissions from the fleet by 2030.

Dream Yacht Worldwide offers a diverse fleet of more than 900 yachts that sail to more than 50 destinations in the Caribbean and Europe.
