In a very few weeks we will be saying goodbye to the year 2020 and we will be getting ready to make 2021 a year we can be proud of.
Many of you reading this article today will be coasting through the month of December, celebrating the Christmas holiday, primping for New Year’s Eve, and drafting your list of good intentions.
This is always the way it has been done, and it will be the way for many years to come. But you and I are not one of the many. We are one of the few. And as a result, we choose to do things differently. Stay calm. My message is coming.
The way I look at it, starting today, if we play our cards right, we have the full month of December to distance ourselves from the competition come January 1.
Although I have a number of ideas for you to catapult yourself to the top of the hill, I realize that your resources and time constraints may prove my ideas to be empty suggestions at best.
What you do, how you do it, and to whom you do it to is something you are going to have to come to terms with. There are many ways to skin a cat and your future is just that… your future.
So today’s article really does not have a message, per se. It comes in the form of a challenge for you to use the next 31 days to your best advantage. Please take time and make time to think about where you want to be one year from today. Do yourself a favor and document your thoughts on paper. You don’t have to share them with anybody. Writing your ideas down will help clarify the work that lies ahead.
You may think that my articles a written for you. Nothing could be further from the truth. I will read and reread today’s article in hope that it hits a personal chord. I too must take advantage of the month of December.
In an attempt to put a ribbon on last weeks holiday, I want you to know that I’m grateful for you, my readers, for hanging with me through this challenging year. I only hope that in some way, shape or form, I have helped you get through some of your more stressful moments. I am confident that 2021 will see us all smiling again, while we build our businesses back to a level we can be proud of.
